Kamil, who are you and what is your focus? What is your life goal?
I am an IT business consultant and project manager with twenty years of experience in information technology in various roles, IT fields and verticals of finance, logistics and telecommunications. I passed the certification of Prince 2, TOGAF, ITIL v3 and COBIT, but I learnt the main things by practice. In my professional life, I would like to contribute to a real digital transformation of the economy, the efficiency of which will enable the next generations to devote themselves to creative things and private life.

The theme of the 13th year of the Conference is “Tips & Tricks”. What are the main ideas you will want to talk about?
When it comes to real-time coordination of people and their activities, it is possible to either go freestyle and hope that everything will turn out well, or to strictly plan and risk that the first exception will break the whole plan. The aim is to point out the risks and define the correctly balanced approach to planning and implementation. How to assign tasks. How to effectively communicate status information between those responsible – targeted, error-free communication is key. How to monitor the status of activities and how to behave in case of action failures or time deviations. But also what to record, and how, so that the next run of coordination can be optimized.

How would you describe a person marked as Experienced Professional or working with know-how and skill?
I know a few of such people around me and the key is energy, experience, patience with tools and people. Know-how and skill is only gained by seeing, experiencing and battling dead ends several times. In other words, they have worked for it. I would not say that a person is a professional if they don’t have sufficient communication skills, the ability to organize their own and others’ activities, the ability to learn and also think out-of-the-box when needed. A professional deals with change with icy calmness. And their outputs must always be reliable.

Ondřej, who are you and what is your focus? What is your life goal?
I am an IT business consultant, salesman and project manager with fifteen years of experience, especially in optimization projects in the private and public sectors. Currently, I try to introduce clients to innovative ways of delivering software applications to end users using virtualization and to prevent them both from getting lost during the transition to cloud services and from losing money in the process. In addition, I am an avid collector of certifications in the field of project management, architecture, security and quality management.

How would you describe a person marked as Experienced Professional or working with know-how and skill?
A professional does not try to convince you of their opinion at all costs at the first opportunity but rather offers the opinion to you as something to think about. They understand that inner conviction doesn’t build overnight and they themselves regularly critically examine and develop their beliefs according to changing environmental conditions. They will captivate you with their enthusiasm and interest in the topic. They never come up with problems but with solutions instead. They are the first to take responsibility and lead by example.
