Marek has been working in the field of project management since the beginning of his career – he worked for 12 years in the consulting company Accenture, where he led projects not only in the Czech Republic (Air Bank, Raiffeisenbank, ČSOB, Česká spořitelna) but also abroad – Zuno Bank in Slovakia and Hungary, K&H Bank in Hungary, Kredyt Bank in Poland, merger of Bank Pekao and Bank BPH in Poland, etc.
He has been working for ČSOB for the last 8 years – first as a Program Manager and for the last 2 years he heads the Projects and Enterprise Architecture department, where he is in charge of a team of project and program managers, portfolio management, project methodology, enterprise architecture and a new agile competence center.
Marek is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, he studied one year in Australia and one year in the USA, he holds PRINCE2, MSP and SAFe 5 SA certification.
Within ČSOB we are starting to launch a smart agile transformation. Why smart? Because we want to do it smartly – it means doing that where it makes sense and has added value. However, so far we are relatively at the beginning, because we have only started the agile transformation in January this year. Where we’ve gotten so far, that will come to tell you:
Bohdan Suchánek – Bohdan is the head of Digital Design at ČSOB and will share with you a business perspective on agile transformation; Luděk Šlegr – the head of ČSOB’s IT – will share with you a view on agile transformation from the IT side, and the third musketeer will be Marek Adamec, head of Projects and Architecture, who will share his experience with you from the perspective of project managers and the Agile Competence Center.
