Aneta Wereszczak began her project management journey in 2013 and quickly discovered two key things: how to juggle competing priorities — and that no day starts properly without a strong cup of coffee.
Her passion for projects soon extended beyond office hours. In 2017, she joined the PMI Poland Chapter, earned her PMP certification, and became an active volunteer. She began by organizing visual thinking workshops, Women in Project Management events, and PMI seminars, eventually managing the successful “Psychology in Business & Project Management” conference, which brought together over 300 participants.
In 2018, she was recognized as “Volunteer of the Year” in the Best Team Member category. She went on to serve as Marketing Director for PMI Wrocław and, in 2020, was elected as PMI Poland Board Member for Marketing. Most recently, she held the role of Vice President of Membership (2022–2023), where she focused on improving member experience and engagement.
Aneta is also the Europe Lead of the global Women Power Up network, a community dedicated to empowering women in leadership and project roles. She is an active supporter of the PMI Chapter XChange initiative, promoting cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge sharing across chapters.
