His international experience extends far beyond Europe. He has completed numerous humanitarian missions with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in crisis regions, including Haiti, Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Yemen. These experiences have provided him with a unique global perspective on healthcare and motivated him to pursue systematic changes in how it is delivered.

As the co-founder of the leading telemedicine platform uLékaře.cz, he is redefining the doctor-patient relationship by enabling more efficient diagnostics and supporting traditional healthcare through technology. The platform offers virtual consultations and medical services to Czech and Slovak patients through a team of 40 general practitioners, over 200 specialists, and nearly all partnering healthcare facilities in the region.

Tomáš has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Kramář Medal (2024), EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Social Impact category (2020), and Physician of the Year (2019). He also serves on the boards of MSF and is an active ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) instructor.

In his free time, he is a sports enthusiast, a licensed pilot and aerobatics flyer, and a passionate triathlon fan.
