Alexandr Dobeš is a leader who has been connecting technology, business, and people for more than 10 years. He started in a digital agency, where he grew from small web projects to leading large-scale implementations for clients such as the Czech Telecommunication Office, Motol Hospital, and Prague Airport. With the latter, he even won the WEBTOP100award for the best tourism website.
He later moved into the world of television platforms – at nangu.TV he led projects for O2, Czech Television’s iVysílání, and Orange. At the London-based company Deltatre, he headed international teams for giants like Rogers Canada and their modern TV platform, as well as beIN Sports, where he prepared the platform for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Today, he serves as a Business Technology Leader at IBM, where he helps companies and institutions across Europe adopt artificial intelligence and modern technologies. He guides clients from the first ideas to concrete solutions that bring efficiency, growth, and long-term value. His strength lies in translating complex technologies into a language that makes sense to both businesses and the people who will use them.
Outside of work, Alex is driven by his passion for football, music, and travel. He plays several musical instruments, enjoys riding his longboard, and seeks out adrenaline-filled experiences that fuel his energy and inspiration. His dream is to travel the world – and just like in his career, in his personal life he looks for ways to combine courage, curiosity, and perseverance.

What implementation involves in practice – from technical challenges to organizational changes.
Key considerations – security, compliance, grounding, latency, costs.
Real-world use cases – from HR and support to sales and data analytics.
How the roles of project and technology leadership are evolving in the age of AI.
The workshop will include live demonstrations of various AI assistants, helping you understand the differences between technologies and their appropriate application in specific business contexts.
